Replacement School #10
Perth Amboy, New Jersey
Phase I of this project involves building a replacement school for the students of Perth Amboy. This dual-phased project also consists of the demolition of the existing school as Phase II.
Phase I is a two story phased masonry wall bearing structure with a total area of 110,000 s.f. When completed, the school will accommodate up to 800 students and will include 22 classrooms for grades Grade 1-4, 14 basic skills rooms, three special education rooms, six Kindergarten and three Pre-Kindergarten rooms. A media center, music room, art room, gymnasium, cafetorium and playground are also part of the final design.
BEC is proud to be a part of one of the first ground-up school projects awarded by the NJSCC.
